The Lakes Quartet is firmly established as one of the busiest string quartets in Cumbria; all the players are professional musicians based in the Lake District. They each have wide experience including work with the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, the English National Ballet, the Welsh National Opera and the London Philharmonic as well as locally with the Lakeland Sinfonia, the North Pennine Chamber Orchestra and the Cumbria String Quartet.

With a wealth of experience spanning 10 years we are well known for the quality of our playing, the variety and breadth of our repertoire, and our professional and friendly service.
