With a wealth of experience spanning 15 years The Lakes Quartet is well known for the quality of its playing, the variety and breadth of their repertoire, and the professional and friendly service.they offer.
All the players are professional musicians whose wide experience includes work with the Royal Opera House, English National Ballet, Welsh National Opera, Manchester Camerata, the Halle and London Philharmonic Orchestras, as well as locally with Lakeland Sinfonia and the North Pennine Orchestra.

The Lakes Quartet performs frequently at weddings and civil ceremonies, and has played at a wide variety of corporate events and private functions, such as garden and birthday parties, fashion shows and antique fairs.

The Quartet plays regularly at prestigious venues throughout the Lake District and the North of England, including the Netherwood Hotel, Langdale Chase Hotel, Cragwood Country House Hotel, Storrs Hall, Muncaster Castle, Armathwaite Hall, Merewood Country House Hotel, Keswick Country House Hotel, Abbey House Hotel, Linthwaite House and many others.The players can also be booked to play further afield, in July 2011 the quartet played for the Golden Wedding celebrations of Lord and Lady Judd at the House of Lords.
